Role Description

This is a contract role for a Registered Dietitian at Wellness Haven. The Registered Dietitian will be responsible for providing nutritional counseling and medical nutrition therapy to clients. They will also assist in weight management and offer nutrition expertise to support overall health and wellness goals. This is a hybrid role, with the main location based in Carmel, IN, and surrounding area with flexibility for remote work.

As a Health and Wellness Coach, you will be responsible for providing guidance, support, and motivation to individuals seeking to improve their well-being. Your day-to-day tasks will include conducting personalized wellness coaching sessions, developing customized wellness plans, educating clients on nutrition and weight management, and helping clients set and achieve their health goals. This is a hybrid role, located in Carmel, IN, with flexibility for some remote work.

Role Description

Role Description

Role Description

This is a contract role for a Licensed Massage Therapist at Wellness Haven. As a Licensed Massage Therapist, you will be responsible for providing therapeutic massages, including techniques such as Shiatsu and body massage, to our clients. You will also assist clients in stress management and provide exceptional customer service. This is a hybrid role, with the majority of work taking place in our Carmel, IN location, but some remote work is acceptable.

Qualifications

• Valid Massage Therapist license in the state of Indiana through the State Board of Massage Therapy from any of the following examinations:

1. Massage & Bodywork Licensing Examination (MBLEx)
2. National Certification Examination for Therapeutic Massage (NCETM)
3. National Certification Examination for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (NCBTMB)
4. National Board Certification Agency National Certification Examination (NBCA NCE)

• Experience in therapeutic massage and body massage techniques
• Assisted stretch therapy, preferred
• Knowledge of Shiatsu and stress management techniques
• Additional certifications and training in related areas are a plus
• Customer service and interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication and listening skills

You are required to hold professional liability insurance in order to practice massage therapy in the State of Indiana. The proof may be a copy of the certificate of insurance for your professional liability insurance which may be submitted online with your renewal, via email to pla14@pla.in.gov, or online via the License Update feature at MyLicense.IN.gov.

As of July 13, 2022, all licensed Massage Therapist will be required to complete 18 hours of Continuing Education before the May 2025 renewal. After that, they will be required to complete a total of 24 hours of Continuing Education within the 4-year renewal cycle.

Role Description

This is a contract hybrid role for a Lactation Consultant at Wellness Haven located in Carmel, IN. Some work from home is acceptable. As a Lactation Consultant, you will be responsible for providing lactation counseling, assisting with neonatal intensive care, supporting maternal-child health, and providing medical guidance. This is a hands-on role that requires a high level of expertise and compassion in helping mothers and newborns with breastfeeding and lactation issues.

Role Description

This is a contract role for a Child Life Specialist who is responsible for providing optimal developmental, psychosocial, and therapeutic support to meet the social, emotional, physical and educational needs of children between the ages of birth and eighteen years of age. Essential job functions include: 

• Assesses children's developmental and coping needs.
•  Implements developmentally appropriate therapeutic interventions such as play, medical play, psychological preparation, and rehearsed coping to minimize distress associated with the health care environment and to foster resiliency.

2. CCLS Certification upon hire - or - Completion of a 600 hour child life internship under the supervision of a certified child life specialist is required. Must meet requirements set forth for certification by the Child Life Certifying Commission. Certification must be obtained within 1 year of hire.
3. Membership in Child Life Council and other professional affiliations is encouraged.
4. Current CPR training, or obtain CPR training within 3 months.
